Preparing for Carpet Installation
We promise to keep you informed throughout the installation process so that there won't be any surprises.
The first step will be making sure all furniture is removed from the soon-to-be carpeted area.
In many cases, the old flooring will have to be removed to clear space for new carpeting. This will be discussed with a member of our team prior to the installation.
During & After Carpet Installation
An adult member of your household (age 18 or older) should be home to greet the installation crew and show them to the work area. This team member will talk you through the process and answer any questions that you might have.
We ask that you keep children and pets away from the carpet installation for safety purposes.
From there, the installation will begin. We will do our best to estimate the length of the time the installation will take, but it can vary depending on a number of factors.
After your carpet is installed, your room will need good ventilation. You can help ensure good airflow by opening up windows, turning on fans, and taking other steps to air the room out for about 72 hours.
